Who Is This For?
Complete Beginners
Most of our guests have never wakesurfed before. Captains have a system — most people are riding within 15-20 minutes.
Experienced Riders
The Supreme S240's wave is adjustable. Dial it up for carving, spins, and tricks. Bring your own board if you prefer.
Families & Kids
Captains routinely teach kids as young as 6. Low speed (10-12 mph) and gentle falls make it one of the safest water sports.
Wakesurfing vs. Wakeboarding vs. Tubing
Wakesurfing
- Beginner-friendly — easiest to learn
- Drop the rope once you're up
- Slow speed: 10-12 mph
- Gentle falls close to the boat
- Best for all ages and skill levels
Wakeboarding
- Moderate difficulty
- Hold the rope the entire time
- Faster: 18-22 mph
- Falls farther from the boat
- Best for more experienced riders

Booking & planning
Weekends during peak season (May–September) often sell out weeks in advance, especially for double-decker party boats. If you have a specific date in mind, we recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred boat and time slot.
A casual rain shower does not impact boat rentals and we will still operate as scheduled. In the case of severe weather (lightning, high winds, or unsafe conditions), Keep Austin Wet may delay or reschedule the rental for safety reasons.
We offer set time slots throughout the day to allow multiple groups to enjoy the lake. For the most flexibility, you may also book a full-day rental.
Most rentals are booked in 4-hour blocks, though longer rentals are available depending on availability.
Good news–if your boat isn’t booked after your charter, you can often extend your time on the water for an additional hourly rate. Just let your captain know!
